Avoid at all costs (and there will be plenty of costs). I took my pet there they over sedated her and we were told to go to the ER. Brought her in healthy and carried her out near death on oxygen.

Business response:

Hi Kevin, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointment with us. The essence of our values and who we are all start with patient-centric compassionate care and best-in-class service. We hope you'll recall our previous conversations about this visit. Our recommendation that Bella be taken to the emergency hospital after our intake and initial diagnostics was out of concern for her well-being, as they can offer advanced diagnostics and supportive care that we, as a general practice, can... read more

We have been coming to this vet for many years with multiple pet and it is no longer what it used to be. They only care about the collecting your money. Our 5 year old dog has had a skin issue that requires a shot every month and a half, each time we visit they charge us a $65 exam fee.. Considering we are there so often it doesn't seem necessary to pay the exam fee but they refused to waive it. Mind you they rarely do a full "exam". Last time we went in they brought our dog to the back to draw cells from a lump and give him... read more

We would very much appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly so we can investigate your feedback further. If you're open ... read more

On our first visit to this veterinarian for my dog's ear infection, we waited over an hour to see the veterinarian. I don't understand why businesses don't let you know when you check in that there will be an extended wait, so you're not wondering how long you'll be there. I went up and asked and she said, "a few more minutes". I don't think she understands the definition of "few" because it was still a long wait. I learn while in the exam room that Wednesdays can be "really crazy". I don't know why, do they schedule more p... read more

Used to love this vet but now it just seems like they are in it for the money. Every visit costs at least a few hundred bucks. Sent me home with the wrong amount of medicine (which i asked if it would be enough & they called to admit their mistake the next day) then had the nerve to charge me extra for their mistake on top of the inconvenience of having to go back to pick up the correct item. Will be finding a new vet.

The worst experience ever don't ever try this place the stuff are ridiculous especially the reception Be aware of them they will charge you for nothing My dog has cut in her leg was to tiny needs to clean it they asked me for 1200 Usd when I said no they went down to 320 usd that wasn't the first time they did it twice in different things

Business response:

Hello Ahmed Fadel, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointment with us. When we saw your pet in August of 2020, it was for an old laceration that had become infected on her rear limb. Upon examining the wound, we recommended surgical correction, a wound culture, and that she wear an E-collar until the wound had adequately healed and was no longer at risk. Our initial estimate for this treatment and care came to $1,065.26. As we noted in your Google negative review, we completely ... read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! This company has incompetent Vet. "Technician" staff, and a Vet, Dr Shaw. Dr Shaw was asking bunch of questions about me and my dog. One-of-them was about "What about peeing? I asked her if 8-9 hours without going out is bad on the liver. Her response was... "Well, I don't know." A supposedly Veterinarian doesn't know if that's bad or not?! In additional, I called 3x's each time. Each time I called, I had to put on hold & waited 10-15 minutes. This same person was rude and said "I'm a call center" (wh... read more

STAY AWAY from this place! If you love your pet, do not go there. Our daughter & son-in-law lost their beloved dog, just 6 weeks ago, because of this vet's practice gross error. They moved here from Massachusetts, & their dog (our granddog) was healthy, & was balanced on medication (for years) for a gastrointestinal disorder. He was a Yorkie & they are prone to IBS problems. He was 12 but acted like a puppy. The vet at AHD did an x-ray which was read by Dr. Cuypers. She said he had 'Cushings Disease' & the vet told our daugh... read more

Fantastic care but cost after cost after cost, very expensive each. As good as they are, their prices are ridiculous. There is no need to gouge people because we all love our pets. I do but found a vet that wasn't a corporation overcharging patients. If you are making close to 100,000.00 or a little below. This is a good place for you. I found a vet just as good at half the price. Don't get me wrong, if need be, I would pay anything to keep my dog alive. I just don't like to pay real high prices for basic services like a dog... read more

We took our fifteen year old Corgie here because she wouldn't eat. We met with four different vets over a period of ten days at Animal Hospital of Dunedin. Dr. Todd recommended that we have Maria's spleen removed. Keep in mind this is a fifteen year old dog. We went to another vet who did a urinalysis and determined that Maria had a urinary tract infection. The vet gave us antibiotics and one year later Maria is healthy. From a financial perspective, we spent a total of $1200 with Dunedin Animal Hospital and about $80 ... read more

Business response:

Hi Joseph, We remember Maria's visit from almost a year ago and we are genuinely glad to hear that she is doing well. Unfortunately, when our pets are sick, they're unable to tell us exactly how they're feeling, which is why our doctors pursue multiple avenues for diagnosis. Part of Maria's care, if you recall, took place at a specialty facility, where a very concerning splenic mass was identified. The connection between that and a UTI is unusual, so we'd welcome the opportunity to review Maria's records, ultimate diagnosis,... read more
