I have a pug, this was his 2nd time going the first time was great and we had no problems this time was terrible. I picked jack up and realized that his eye was bloodshot red and it looked as if someone/something had cut it. It was not like this when I dropped him off and I know that it had to have happened there. Very unprofessional! The owner will not return any of my phone calls about an incident that happened in their parking lot with one of the employees. The manager was there that day and came out cursing at me. Very terrible management skills! I suggest going elsewhere.
It is Xmas Day. We dropped our two pups off at Animal House. First time as it was recommended by a friend. I called Animal House ALL DAY yesterday to check on our dogs. NO ANSWER. NOT EVEN AN ANSWERING MACHINE. At the end of the day and after many calls I contacted the sheriff's office to find out what was going on. They said to call the City of Jacksonville. I guess my expectations were too high based on the reviews? I left my pup here for 5 days, it was the first time we've ever been apart from him since we adopted him at 3 months, he's a year and a half. Expense was not an issue, we needed to make sure everything was paid for because our friend was picking him up for us; we didn't land until 10:30pm and I couldn't stand the thought of sleeping without my pup home when we were both in the same city.
