Thank God for a decent dermatologist. I am so glad I met Dr. Wheat. I surprised there exists a review that is less than stellar. She has treated my family members and inspires me to go out in the world feel confident. Dont waste anytime seeing anyone else.
Dr. Wheat was pleasant, prompt and professional. I did not have to wait more than 15 minutes to see her. She analyzed several different skin issues, and answered all my questions. I have recommended her to friends and family. I had become discouraged with other dermatologists in the area because they did not respect your time: waiting two hours to remove a wart did not seem reasonable. Dr. Wheat is a refreshing change!
What should have been a routine mole removal for 15 areas turned into a painful burn session when Dr. Chikoti Mibenge Wheat mutilated my face and neck, charging $295 to do so. I also lost several days of pay because I couldn't work with the skin burned on my face and neck. She should not be allowed to do this to anyone else.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dermatologist, she was completely un empathetic and was rude when I had asked a question. She didn’t ask me any questions and did not provide any information about the medication she was going to prescribe. Very poor bedside manner. I definitely do not recommend if you want to feel heard and provided possible options for treatment.
I just tried to schedule an appointment today 2/8, to see Dr. Wheat and the guy (I refuse to call him a gentleman) was so rude that I had to hang up. I would NEVER feel comfortable in their office. I had really high hopes because I wanted a dermatologist that looked me and would be familiar with skin of color, but I deserve BETTER treatment.
My appointment took less then 5 min - never felt so rushed. She offered one treatment, but gave different without any explanations.
Front desk staff is friendly but provider is not. Only looked at area of concern because I asked since at first glance "it's fine". Felt rushed and all my concerns were a bother
Very demeaning and I felt like I was wasting their time. No bedside manner.
