The visit started with her coming in with 2 other people that she did not introduce. I have always been asked if I consent to trainees in the room if that was a trainee. If I'm dressed down for a visit, have the decency to make sure I know who is in the room. The doctor got to the point but completely rushed through looking at my skin, and didn't check all of the spots I was concerned about. The lighting in the room was dim and decided the photo was evidence of progression, she seemed more prepared to give me a quick 3-minute... read more

Horrible bedside manner/rude providing unsatisfactory diagnosis. I elected a different and more experienced dermatologist at Arundel Dermatology after having two poor visits with Dr. Wheat. Would recommend one of their PA's over her. Obviously in the profession for all the wrong reasons and should consider another trade. When sharing the medicine she proscribed with my primary physician (one the best on the coast) he mentioned it's rarely prescribed, especially for the problem I was experiencing so I stopped taking it.

Dr. Wheat was in the exam room for no more than 3 minutes and I was left feeling like I was keeping her from something more important. I won’t be back.

I have seen Dr. Wheat a few times and every time was a negative experience. She is rude, rushes in and out and barely looks at my concerns for more than a few seconds, with barely a glance at my skin. I've asked her if she could do certain things that other dermatologists have done for me in the past, such as ingrown hair removal, but she said no because she's "never done that before". Then she walked right out of the room, as usual. Trust the negative reviews about her because they are accurate.

We felt rushed. My husband was diagnosed with squamous cell ca, we received a call from an assistant that told us someone would call within two weeks to SCHEDULE AN APPT. Not that we will have the surgery within two weeks. I fell that we should have received a call from Dr. Wheat, not an assistant that could not answer my questions

The office is clean and the staff are friendly. However, Dr. Wheat spent maybe a total of 3 minutes examining my scalp and body for skin cancer. I honestly don't know how this could be considered a thorough exam. Everything I've read on healthcare sites says a body scan usually takes 20-30 min. Seemed like a waste of time.

Awful. She clearly had read no history. She did not take any history. Declared my rash to be self-induced and then called me a liar when I assured her that was not the case. Completely unprofessional, bordering on dangerous.

Dr. Wheat is awful. She is unprofessional, does not show any compassion or caring toward the patient. She didn't bother to exam my daughter surgery area closely, which is under her armpit. Dr. Wheat just glance at it and said it look fine, why is she hear? My daughter had a surgery done earlier this week. Yesterday, her whole left hand was swollen up and she was running a fever. The wonderful doctor that did the surgery on my daughter was out on leave. The nurses and the receptionist recommended for us to see Dr. Wheat becau... read more
