She takes the time to listen very carefully, and then shares her observation and plan of action in sufficient detail that I, as a lay person, and fully understand what she intends to do. I have had 3 primary melanomas,1 irregular nevi and 1 basal cancer and she is the only doctor who found one of these-- a melanoma. I found the other 4. The melanoma she found was very early and honestly i would not have pegged it as a melanoma. Yes, she is short and direct and doesn't do a lot of chit chat, but she knows what she is doing and id trust her anytime to look at my skin. I don't need chit chat , i need a doctor who spots melanoma, understands how it grows. THANK YOU Dr. McGuigan!!!!!!
Dr Farley and her entire staff are amazing. She has performed Mohs surgery on my nose for the third time over the years; once on each side and once on the tip. She is a very skilled surgeon and each surgery has had a beautiful outcome. While working she is professional and compassionate, checking to be sure I'm okay throughout the procedure. Very brief and businesslike. I waited 45 minutes in the reception area and 10 minutes in the examining room. When she came in, she was not even there for five minutes. She was not rude and I think she was thorough, but there is no real connection established with patients.
Dr. Marquart has removed Melanoma from my husband's nose and cheek twice within the past 12 years. Not only that he did a superb job each time, he also reconstructed my husband's nose and cheek. It took about a year to go through the reconstructions of his nose. It was magical. We showed up without an appointment the second time. Dr. Marquart was so kind to perform the melanoma removal on the same day. His "Patient First" policy was just the best. We are thankful to have Dr. Marquart.
Dr. Gamber is very professional & found a small, small melanoma for which I’m forever grateful. However, my daughter was told she would be called if her bx was positive for infection; never called; her infection got bad & she will probably be left w/a bad scar.
Dr Farley has done several excisions on both my face and body. Her staff is lovely. Her assistance skilled. She is a careful and skilled surgeon and very calming. She actually disappeared a scar while doing a mohs next to it. She’s amazing. Patient, kind. The very best.
Good experience. Moderate wait. Friendly staff. Thorough exam by doctor of skin areas about which I had questions. Biopsied one. Explained what he was doing. Didn’t rush. Left good impression.
