We have been patients of AA Derm and were very satisfied with the former PA, Anne Lawson, who has left the practice. Last week we were seen by Justin Roscoe, MD. We will not be returning to the practice after that experience. In addition to his overall indifference and perfunctory skin cancer exams (which is primarily why we were there), he made a presumptive diagnosis unrelated to dermatology and prescribed an extensive course of drug treatment. Without going into specifics, I raised the issue with our very competent primar... read more

I should have read the reviews. I don’t know why you bother filling out all the medical history forms, when it sat on my chair and she never looked or asked about it. I have never been to any medical appointment where I felt so rushed. I asked questions but got no responses. There was no effort to get to know me as a new patient (or person) and she had no recommendations about anything. When she and the medical assistant left the room, I sat in there wondering what happened and if I was to leave. I hope her exam was better t... read more

I have seen Dr. Gamber several times over the years. She has never had a personable or approachable demeanor but I stayed with her because I thought she was thorough. My, how times have changed. She came into the room, looked at the four spots I was concerned about and quickly left. I am 65 and I would think she would have some advice, e.g., be careful about the sun, or maybe ask me if I have any questions. On the up side, I did not need to wait to be seen, but I would rather wait two hours than to be dismissed and left to f... read more

The office staff made the appointment, only to inform me when I appointment began that I could not be seen without a referral. They blamed for not knowing, even though in my experience, the office always informs me if I need a referral.

I've been going to Gamber for about 15 years off and on. She is nice, and in the beginning she would spend time with me. But now she tries to get you in and out as quickly as she can. As she's rushing out the door you're left sitting in the room with questions popping up in your head, but you can't ask her because she's already out the door. The beginning of the appointment is just as confusing and frustrating. Before she comes in, she sends in a staff member to ask why you're there. The staff member leaves, and then minutes... read more

Appointment was super behind, then she was short, snippy and rude then rushed back out. Third time seeing her and will be finding a new doctor.

Does not take time with the patient, my mom had to get undressed and for nothing. Dr. Gamber never checked her back, legs and head. I stopped going to her several years ago because she was not helpful and did not seem to care.

Lisa seems like a nice person but apologized at the beginning of the appointment for keeping me waiting because they were running behind. She talked very fast during the appointment. She prescribed a cream but neglected to advise that it is a chemotherapy medication nor reviewed the side effects that it always causes. Within a week my skin had severe irritations and peeling. Quite concerned I Googled the medication and first thing I saw was that it is a chemotherapy medication and that the peeling was normal. Advice to this ... read more
