He explained what was replaced with evidence of wind damage and deterioration and explained that the old substrate was no longer consistent with today’s code requirements, though they only replaced those that required it due to damage. The workmanship was professional and they did a good job. The weather caused some issues during the install with water intrusion, but I'm happy with the finished work. The rain caused cleanup to leave shingle dirt on the concrete. I pressure washed some of it after work. The alarm stopped working on one of the zones on Aug 22nd my guess is a wire was pierced by a nail or the board they replaced pulled it out. Roof is beautiful. Crew showed up on time and was done earlier than expected. They worked diligently and efficiently. There was a leak around the stove exhaust noted during a thunderstorm. Antonio came out the same day and it is being worked on.

Good workers , nice job, Diappointed with how valleys were Don. Would have preferred continuous coverage rather than cut. Antonio explained that it is customer option, but I was never made aware of the option. Could have done a better job protecting and not trampling flowers/shrubs in front beds.. Still waiting on supplement on roof replacement on outdoor porch. Very disappointed in handling of this. Apex says it was submitted, Universal says it has no request. This has gone on for months. Workers were on time, worked very hard, even in the rain. Everything was done on schedule and job was completed after two days. Roofers did a good job on installing a new roof and also did a good job cleaning up. Very pleased with this project. I highly recommend Apex to anyone needing a new roof.
