It is easy to work, and picks up large debris very well. It does not work well for the small sand and fine dirt on the bottom of the pool however.

we have had two maytronic m600's and a tiger shark so pretty familiar with pool vacs. Love lots of things about the Evo; its light weight, cartridge is easy to clean and holds a decent amount, and the controller works well with the internet. I don't believe the Evo has great suction pickup power,it leaves a lot of mess on the pool bottom and we run it two or three times a day during these windy spring times. We absolutely love our new pool robot! We did so much research and ultimately landed on the Aqua Products Evo 614 IQ. I love the app and how we can choose our cleaning cycle. It cleans the waterline well and does our stairs which are built in. It has some difficulty cleaning the top step but that’s because it’s quite shallow. We have a 16’x32’ in ground pool and the cord has plenty of length to clean even when it’s plugged in 8’ away from the pool in the pool shed. Cleans well, easy to clean filters, app and wifi control is reliable and easy to use. Overall much better than my Maytronics S200 that died right after 2 years

So far the cleaner has exceeded my expectations. * The app is more functional than I expected and the Lift Mode works surprisingly well * The filter basket is adept at picking up debris of various sizes and does not leak debris when retrieving the cleaner from the water With all robots, time well tell but initial returns are promising

I had a 9550 Polaris sport before and while it was a good machine there were some short comings. I do believe the EVO addressed those with the debris basket position and the exhaust through the top. Good going ! 2 weeks and the machine performs great so far.
