Note that my Mom was only there for a short time before she passed. The staff was good - getting into a schedule that met my Mom's need took a little time. Adjustment for my Mom was difficult, as she was living with my Sister up until that point, and had 24x7 support of family. It was difficult for my Mom to use the food/dining, as she was in significant pain while in a wheelchair. At the time we place our Mom at Arbor Terrace, she only watched TV, and was not mobile enough to do much else. When we brought in Hospice, the in... read more

What I like the most is that it does not seem like an assisted living community. It is clean and modern. It could improve communications about difficulties loved ones are experiencing by giving more real time feedback. And while most of the staff is very professional, we've experienced very unprofessional behavior from time to time from weekend staff.

The food can always be better but both of our loved ones have gained weight there so it can't be that bad. The pricing could be better too.

Just started my search for senior living for my mom. I had no idea what to ask or where to start... Amanda was able to answer every question plus more for me! I wish there were more activities going on in the community. Once we make a decision Arbor Terrace in Waugh Chapel is at the top of my list!
I thought Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel was great. It was a newer facility and very nice. It was full of wonderful, open, well-lit spaces. I really liked this one.

I thought Arbor Terrace Waugh Chapel was very nice. Everything in there was spotless. The facility was about 2 years old or so, and everything looked brand new. It was a very nice, clean environment. I also liked that they mentioned they have chef prepared meals.
