Dr. Ostad is a wonderful, skilled and compassionate doctor. He's an exceptional practitioner of MOHS surgery. Both my husband and I have had carcinomas removed by Dr. Osted with excellent results. I was referred to him many years ago for removal of a carcinoma on my face that another doctor felt unable to treat. Very thorough and good-mannered examination and procedure.
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Ostad for many years. He is warm and he listens when you are talking. We spend most of our time in Savannah but come to NYC for our dermatological appointments. Dr. Ostad is an outstanding MOHS surgeon. He is thorough in removing the skin cancer and precise in closing the skin. Don't worry at all about having a scar!
Dr. Ostad has the essential skills needed in his profession plus the eye of an artist. A number of years ago he performed delicate work on my nose and face - it is invisible. He is caring and his staff are informed and supportive. Follow-up check-ups are important and he teaches you the signs to beware of in-between visit.
