I saw Dr. Ostad today for a routine exam for possible skin cancer. He treated a pre-cancerous spot on my arm and removed a small growth from my scalp. Dr. Ostad has been my dermatologist for many years and the quality of care that I receive during every visit is always first rate. Very thorough and good-mannered examination and procedure.
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Ostad for many years. He is warm and he listens when you are talking. We spend most of our time in Savannah but come to NYC for our dermatological appointments. Dr. Ostad is an outstanding MOHS surgeon. He is thorough in removing the skin cancer and precise in closing the skin. Don't worry at all about having a scar!
Dr. Ostad has the essential skills needed in his profession plus the eye of an artist. A number of years ago he performed delicate work on my nose and face - it is invisible. He is caring and his staff are informed and supportive. Follow-up check-ups are important and he teaches you the signs to beware of in-between visit.
