Fantastic Mohs and reconstructive plastic surgeon with a kind and caring heart. Patients deal with less stress, anxiety and time with the best possible result and the least amount of pain with Dr. OSTAD and his highly trained staff. It is a highly professional and efficient practice. I come to NYC from Florida for appointments and treatment for repeated basal cell carcinoma that I have had over many years. I have had many Mohs surgeries with the reconstruction done immediately by Dr. Ostad. He is the best.
I have been going to Dr. Ostad for more than 25 years. Even after moving from NYC to CT, I incurred the inconvenience of taking the train into the City to see him because I could not find the same level of care in CT that I experienced with Dr. Ostad. He has performed Mohs surgery on my forehead and other areas, as well as some cosmetic surgery, all with excellent results. Simply put, I feel I am getting the best care available with Dr. Ostad.
I have been seeing Dr. Ostad for more than 25 years for innumerable skin cancer surgeries as well as facial fillers – particularly Sculptra. I've had some very large excision's after which his skin grafts and reconstructive techniques were superbly done. Unlike many others in his field, it was always “one stop shopping” - you needn’t go to a second surgeon to close or graft the wound. This was my 4th visit with Dr. Ostad. After 6 biopsies and 3 excisions of lesions I was clear on this visit. His attention to detail is incredible. When I left the office this time I knew that I was 100% clear which is a wonderful feeling. When Dr. Ostad is in with you there is only one thing on his mind.... His team is phenomenal - I go to him for sun cancer removal ( much more than I would like to ) and it feels like visiting a friend ( with a scalpel ) I cant recommend him highly enough
