After receiving a solicitation email from this company I called them with an urgent need for an HVAC tech because our ac froze up during the hottest part of the day yesterday. Man told me he had a mid-morning he could work me into. Come 11am there's no call from the tech. I called them to check on his status and the receptionist was rude about telling me he'd be out at 230 and provided no information as to why I was pushed out. I chose this business because of all the good reviews, but apparently not all interactions with this company are the same. My AC fan motor went out and so I called Armor to come out and look at it. It is an older unit, and the guy said he could get it going again, but that he suggested a new fan motor. He quoted me over $800, which was a bit of a shock, but I assumed this must be an expensive part, or take several hours to change out.
