Staff has always been super friendly,they always have activities going on,my brother is almost deaf so they put him a doorbell in that lights up so he can tell someone's at the door.
The place was clean and homey, and everyone I saw was nice and friendly. The rooms were lovely and large. Was excited to see the activity room . The lunch room was clean and looked like a relaxed atmosphere. My husband and I really liked it.
They just completed a remodel recently and everything is nice and fresh and inviting. The executive Director and her staff have been very attentive from the beginning and still if I have a question or concern, they've been wonderful. The dining experience leaves a bit to be desired, but that's probably par for the course. Residents wait for their food till the hour is almost up every meal, but overall, I think the quality is sufficient. Dad loves the food! I like that dad is safe and has someone cleaning for him. He feels less isolated now. Yes, I would recommend Asher Point Independent Living of Amarillo to other families based on the experience.
The meals and dining are excellent staff is friendly. Community and activities are well organized. . I would recommend to others.
They have been extremely welcoming and accommodating. Mom is not easy and they have made this a great transition! Mom was sort of scared to even think about a community until she realized they all look just like have walkers some have wheelchairs some don't have anything they're just normal average people.
My mother is recognized and greeted by name. The care and ease of having her meals delivered when she was sick was outstanding. She is very happy with her apartment and I am happy knowing someone is always close by if anything is needed. It is a great location. A grocery store is next door as well as restaurants, a bank and an urgent care. We are very pleased.
He wasn't nursing home material, YET! It was the only place he could actually afford. The only real complaint we have is the refrigerator is ridiculously small and so low.
Seem to be having a problem getting credited with my rent payments. Hopefully get it figured out it soon. Still trying to get explanations and check past payment entry with bank. Severe weather has numerous systems closed presently.
