We arrived on a Saturday morning after having set up the appointment on Friday. We were going in for an emergency appointment due to an increasingly sever painful toothache. They collected all the insurance information on Friday over the phone. Today I had a pleasant experience at Aspen Dental in Altamonte Springs overall with the expectation of one team member. From the technicians to the doctor everyone in the “back of the house” was friendly, clear in communication and kind. When I returned to the “front of the house” to be assisted by the billing rep I was meet with attitude and lack of kindness. I was a brand new client trying to find a new dentist! I waited over 2 hours with an appointment for what I thought was a cleaning but it was just an assessment! The dentist and hygienist poked me for about 15 minutes, told me I might have a bone disease which needed a deep clean with anesthesia or my teeth could fall out, insulted my Invisalign I paid thousands of dollars for and sent me on my way with an estimated bill for $1,700 for when I return! Scheduled an appt telling them I had items I needed to get done recommended from another dentist. I'm having tooth pain and switched only because they were in my insurance. So they scheduled me for only an exam and two weeks till I can get any work done because I'd have to go back on the schedule for another day. They wasted my time and I'm in pain.

So far absolutely NOT. Was in pain for 1 week made an appointment said only could evaluate me. Need 2 extractions and root canal. Partial bridge 6k - 8k. Can’t do anything for 1 -2 weeks. They called in a prescription 1 hr later Walgreens doesn’t even have it. They hadn’t sent it. W

Illegal practice. Stay away from this illegal corporate chain that stayed afloat after it lost a 1.7 million dollar class action lawsuit.

I called them to tell them my insurance was active. They said they would check on it and call me back by the end of the week...this is what they told me two weeks in a row. They never called! Needless to say, I contacted another dentist office.

Very expensive especially when your patient is on a low income. Just another money grubbing organization who wishes to extort money to save teeth. Or to extort money enough to buy a small car to fix damaged teeth. I would avoid the chain Dentisry businesses
