Since I have Humana Dental coverage, I was not worried about any out-of-pocket obligation for a dental cleaning; but was told by Aspen that I'd have to pay $103. I called Humana and was told that dental cleanings are totally covered; but when I told this to the finance office manager she said this was a SPECIAL PERIODONTAL CLEANING. I would give them Zero stars if I could. Horrible experience. This business (S. Loop location) advertises that it does denture repair so I made an appointment over the phone for a denture repair for my 95 YO mother who is wheelchair bound. It was a simple repair as one tooth had become dislodged. When I arrived, I was told they "most likely" wouldn't do the repair because the dentures were not made there, which shouldn't matter and was not stated when I made the appointment. Based on an examination at the Aspen Dental Mount Prospect location I was told that I needed to have all my remaining teeth extracted and have dentures made to replace them. The cost was in excess of 8000 dollars. I was given information about third party financing. No information was given about how the dentures would fit or feel. If I could give Aspen Dental in Antioch IL negative stars believe me I would. This place is WACK! They have RUINED my mouth. A bridge that is not sitting right in my mouth (according to a REAL dentist), an extraction that should never have happened, canceled appts not initiated by me, billing errors resulting in hundreds of dollars lost and not recoverable, no urgency AT ALL when you have an issue in your mouth. Run far away from Aspen Dental. I had all my teeth pulled and dentures made($6000) and over a year later, have not worn them once. Don't fit, hurt, make me gag, gap in the front and yet they want more money and seem to think I need new dentures. Just a money grab and dentist drop outs!! I would like to give 0 stars. Run as fast as you can away from Aspen dental very disappointed very confused staff extremely overcharged and is the worst form of dentistry. The smorgasbord of dental work one says one thing one doctor says another thing for the love of God get your things together very very disappointed and I noticed I never see the same doctor twice.

They delay procedures never answer the phone and they are very unprofessional.I don't recommend this place .Especially the one on Randolph.run the other way.They are affiliated with tag dental and they are causing mental health issues on people.These people need to be sued and inspected it's definitely some fraud going on at this company.Putting people through unnecessary surgery taking out all their teeth not giving them better options and then making them wait 3 years to get teeth. I have had a nightmare experience at this office. 1. They charged me for services that I never asked for and they never explained or discussed that these services are not covered, 2. I was left in pain for weeks with a fungal infection and ulcers unable to eat and finally I was seen by the Dentist who announced that I had a fungal infection and ulcers developed because of the unfit dentures. Terrible place. New doctors every month. Couldd never get my crown correct and finally I lost the tooth. Stay away!
