This rating is for the office in Newport News. Very poor customer service. I would not recommend aspen dental to anyone. At first they told me that they couldn't take a walk in because they were short staffed but then she told me I could wait. After an hour and a half she told me her computer wasn't working correctly and she cannot get an account set up for me. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I would never go back to them. This clinic, Hampton, VA just want to do things without your approval and then later charge for it. In addition, appointments changed without notifying me, upsetting. I was asked to take my loose crown off, then I asked if she would glue it back on and she said, "no, because I didn't put it on initially". Very disappointing.

The dentist was rude. The dental chair was situated in a way such that I could hear another patient screaming in pain. The dental hygienist that was speaking to the adjoining patient was so loud that I could not hear the dentist. The dentist stood behind my dental chair such that I could not make eye contact with her. This was all occurring at the same time. I'd give less than a star if I could. 1. The sign says dental emergencies AND Walk ins welcomed... I walked in and was turned away as both a walk in and an emergency after I called to ensure I could walk in. 2. The sign also references insurance not being an issue. I have insurance... didn't have my policy info and was yet again turned way forward service. 3. The rudest staff I have probably ever encountered in a professional setting. They advertise they accept walk ins for emergency dental. I walked in and was immediately asked did I have an appt and I said no but I saw you take walk ins. Her response was to inform me to try to go to Newport News and that they won't be taking walk ins tomorrow either. Then she said we can get you something for September. No apologies nothing. And they have signs plastered on their windows that they take walk ins.

I was told by a scheduler to go to the Hampton office as a walk-in because I have a toothache. When I arrived the receptionist told me they only had one dentist working so they were not doing walk-ins today. I was coming from work and had to go back so I couldn't go 5 miles to their office in a neighboring city ...so I arrived in pain and left in pain. Today is Friday and most dental offices are closed or open half day. Now I have to sit all weekend with a toothache hoping Orajel will help until I can see my regular dentist ... read more

I went to aspen dental for the first time for an exam. I guess the usual hygienist was not in that day so another guy was filling in. He did the most half ass job I have ever seen, my husband that was in the room with me was trying to hold his laugh in. He took out a tool to measure my gums, only measured like 3 and then was like wow you have perfect teeth and told the assistant to put all zeros.
