This place is a joke. I went in for a simple cleaning and they wanted to do all this work. I told them I would schedule for that on a later date because I need a simple cleaning for a wedding. Next thing I know im walking out the front door with NOTHING done.
We will not use Aspen Dental again. The dental work was ok but the billing was terrible. First it took Aspen a year to send me the bill for our share after insurance. We were in-network for our insurance but the claims were processed out-of-network. When I got my first bill the amount was about $500 too much. I called the Kokomo office, no way to contact the corporate office which is where the bills come from. The billing person said they would take care of it. Don't ever go there unless you want them to almost break your jaw and then not even apologize or give an excuse or anything. Everybody was extremely nice except Dr. Murray and the office supervisor (Cindy, I believe). They have a horrible bedside manner and try to blame the patient for getting infection because the Dr didn't do an xray first supposedly to save me money because I don't have insurance. Did a good job with my husbands dentures however I asked for a copy of my x-rays as I have a regular dentist I go too and they said they would email them to me. Still no x-rays. Called back and was told that they were emailed to their corporate office and they would email them to me but were backed up. Still no x-rays. Insurance won't pay for more so its on me unless I finally get them. Not a place for me. I just let them clean my teeth that day and do the x-rays while my husband was getting his dentures. My bad I guess.

Well, I went to my appointment as usual. Saw the hygienist and the dentist, they were both fine. The hygienist is friendly and knowledgeable as is the dentist - I don't really have a complaint about them. However, when i went to check out the girl that waited on me told me I had to pay $42.00 and my next visit would cost $97.00. I had a tooth removed and everything went fine there. Then when I went to get the pain meds the pharmacy tells me that the doctor doesn't have prescription privileges with my insurance. So I call the office and of course it's 1:13pm on a Friday so they stopped answering at 1 and they take appointments on Saturday but the just ignored my request to get back to me.
