The worst experience of my life! Dr. Chan was rude, dismissive & abusive. I questioned him about his suggested treatment & LITERALLY told to GET OUT!! I was very disappointed because Aspen Dental has a reputation of competent, compassionate and economically prudent care however that wasn't my experience at the Mayfield Heights, Ohio location, stay far away from this location & Dr.Chan if you want to be treated fairly & respectfully.
My husband was scheduled for periodontal scaling and root planing. Because he gets anxious at the dentist, Dr. Chan gave him a prescription for 4 Valium and was told to wait until he got to the office to take it. When I looked at his treatment plan, I noticed a charge of $246.00 for "non-intravenous conscious sedation". I questioned the hygienist when we got to the office and was told that charge was for her to crush the pill and put it under his tongue!!! WHAAAAT???? I have had an awful experience here. I paid a bill (I have proof of this) and asked them to rectify the billing error. Despite numerous attempts to get in touch, there has been no update to my account and I receive letters that I would be sent to collections...My sister has also had very terrible billing errors occur to her as well. I would not recommend going here.
They lie, about their pricing, 399 for a upper denture, then you get a 8,000.00 bill, wow....
I have a temporary partial after some extractions, and 2 months later, still a bad fit despite many adjustments. The billing person was so rude and disrespectful to me. They lied in the beginning , they absolutely told me , my entire balance was being put on my dental loan. Just found out today, several hundred still owed. ASPEN DENTAL IN MAYFIELD HTS IS HORRIBLE. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. THEY JACK YOU AROUND, THEY PUT EXTRA ITEMS ON YOUR BILLING AND THEN THEY DON'T FOLLOW THROUGH WITH LETTING PEOPLE KNOW YOUR PAID IN FULL WITH ZERO BALANCE AND DEBT COLLECTORS CALL YOU. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Emergency appointment for my daughter went completely wrong. Dr Chan agreed there was a problem with her tooth but wouldn't touch it because of her age. You knew her age when we made the appointment! He only referred her back to her original dentist. You know, the one that's on vacation and referred us to him! Ridiculous! My daughter is still in pain!!! Waste of time, thanks for nothing. Aspen dental sucks.
