Very poor service after paying for procedure they didn't want to do it. But wanted to keep the payment. Now stuck waiting for dentist and hour after procedure was to be done
Aspen Dental is a new (to me) experience in this field. Since 1966, when dentist convinced me. They knew exactly what I needed, instead of me. Things went down hill! Long story, very Short! I have not wanted to smile enough to show my ugly, teeth! EVERY dentist I have seen, since my husband retired from the Army in 1972, had the same lecture! I loved this place initially. Every single time I go now they have misquoted the price and I have to pay more. I was quoted 750 out of pocket for my wisdom teeth initially. When I went back the next week to pay the price had gone up to 796. The day my wisdom teeth were taken out I had to pay another $40 because they had “entered the procedure” incorrectly. Then she told me I would be getting a rebate back if the procedure was different than what was rung up. My husband is having the same issues. Really disappointed.
I went to Aspen Monday for an appointment because of an abscessed tooth. Chelsey booked my appointment for Thursday at 2. I got there right at 2 and they were packed. More and more people were coming in and going before me. About 3:25 i was finally told that i was a work in and that's why everyone is going before me. At 3:45 it was finally my turn. One word to describe Aspen Dental - Rome, GA location HORRIBLE!! I would love to rate them at a negative number however fb doesn't allow that rating. My husband went to Aspen Dental to have 1 tooth extracted. He came home with an appointment to have all of his teeth removed & a quote for dentures. He said, "they told me I had gum disease & that I could get dentures. I went there after a change in insurance no longer allowed me to use the dentist I had used for years. After X-rays and examination I was told I had a gum disease and would not be able to have a cleaning without treatment. They then sent me back out front where I was quoted a $1450 initial fee plus $450 every 4 months for a year. I immediately left and went back to my former dentist to verify what I was told. Aspen Dental in Rome, GA saw my mother and told her that she had Periodontal Disease. They told her she needed to have a (Deep Cleaning --Scaling and Root Planing.) This determination was concluded on an exam from 11/2016. No new probing depths taken. They charged her $1400 and she was in the dental chair for 32 minutes. No numbing or SRP. She was told that they would schedule her a perio maintenance visit in December. There is no way you can do (4) quadrants of scaling and root planing in 32 minutes. Never ever go to Aspen Dental . The old bait & switch & rip offs !!! Dalton office blamed Rome office & Rome blaming Dalton doctor. I was promised to be put to sleep during oral surgury & THAT didn't happen & it was horizontal extraction in the roof of my mouth !! What a nightmare of agony . I'm writing letters to Ga Consumer Affairs,Atty Genl & Clark Howard. Do not believe their advertised prices. My price went up when I was in the CHAIR numbed !!!
