This is a corporate conglomerate that has horrific customer service. I was way overcharged and after paying thousands for me and my children, they came back saying I owed 1200 more. I finally got with a rep at their headquarters, brought in my insurance agent and for over an hour all 3 went line by line where my rep corrected their overcharges. Went against my better judgement and tried this place. On my first session there, they only did x-rays and no cleaning. The dentist took one look at the x-rays and listed off a number of things I "absolutely needed" to get done, totaling over $6k with insurance. I decided to forgo most of it and make an appointment for a crown (one of the items she listed). All predictions in my previous review 3 months ago were proven correct. Canned response promising to pass on my concerns. That was a lie. No one called. Nothing was fixed. More phone messages from me ignored.

Drove an entire hour just to be seen. arrived @10:15 just for them to tell me they couldn't see me until 1pm. After speaking with a manager she tells us there is nothing she can do and we are free to wait for until 1 to be seen just for an exam and xray. There was only one person there!!!!! When you go to a dentist office regardless you have to sit for about 30 mins so none of it makes sense and they didn't try to help whatsoever. SUPER UNHELPFUL AND DONT WANT TO DO THEIR JOB. My Aetna Dental insurance sent me a notice that they were changing my assigned dental to Aspen dental in Owings mills. I called to schedule an appt. fo late Sept 2022 & the schedular assigned me for late Sept at their Westminster office which was closer to mDe. The day before my appt. I was contacted by Aspen in Westminster to verify my insurance & was told they were not accepting Aetna at any of Aspen offices. Drove an hour to go here because no one else had an opening and my husband desperately needed his wisdom teeth out. Went for appointment and got told the woman who could go over a financial plan with us had left and that she would call us tomorrow to figure it out. I had to call them and get told we had to go back to the actual building to do our payment plan just so they could put him on the schedule. No receptionist when I was there. Their office seemed disorganized and all of the staff acted like they did not want to be/work there. Overheard returning patients that were not happy. Will try to up charge you for services. Dental staff and hygienist did not seem experienced. Will never return to an aspen dental this was first time going and was for an initial exam/x-ray. Stay away!

My father went to Aspen Dental for a full set of dentures. After months of appointments and promises not kept, he finally had enough and went to another dental practice where he received full dentures in 2 days! His account was paid in full through Care Credit until he disputed the charges due to dissatisfaction with the services provided as well as how he and my mother were treated by the staff at 2 different locations. Care Credit took back a portion of their payment which Aspen is not trying to collect again from my fathe... read more
