RecommendedDr. Hitt and his staff are amazing! My dog had pancreatic levels that were off the charts and not really improving. With Dr. Hitt's expertise and the dedication of the AVIM Annapolis staff in providing her HBOT treatments, her levels are much better and my 10 year-old girl is doing amazing.

What a roller coaster ride but worth it! Our dog got sick in Delaware and we were told if we didn’t rush her here she would die. She was seen in the emergency clinic, then transferred to Dr Hitt in internal medicine. She was so very sick. Respiratory, heart, and digestive issues. She was admitted for 7 days. She received IV therapy, medication, new diet, blood work, a ton of tests, a cardiac consult, and ultimately hyperbaric oxygen treatment. I took our bulldog to the Towson location for an ultrasound, and everything went very smoothly. The staff on the phone was always pleasant and helpful, emailed me reminders, and called again before her appointment. At the office, the receptionists were very friendly and kind, we were taken to a room promptly, the vet tech that took us to a room was cheerful and knowledgeable, and the doctor was very friendly, clear, and professional. My name is Kathy Wieland I have so much love for Dr Calo and his Nurse's . I started going to AVIMO in 2015 . Dr.Calo and his Nurse's have showed so much love to my boy Phin who was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic leukemia. I could not have met a more loving and wounderful Doctor and Nurse's . Very impressed with Dr. Kyle Renaldo, Medical Oncologist. You know when the doctor talks to you in terms that you can't understand? Luckily that was not the case with Dr. Renaldo! He has been very helpful and very clear regarding the unfortunate mast cell tumor found on my dogs paw.
Dr Renaldo at the Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology in Annapolis was incredibly kind and spent all the time I needed to explain everything to me. He even came out to console me in the waiting room when I was waiting to check out. I can’t speak highly enough of him or his amazing staff. I pray none of you have to go through this but if you do know that he is the doc you want to take your puppy to.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sanha Kim at the Towson location. Her compassion and realistic explanation of my dog's cancer diagnosis is top notch. She is continuing to give me the best advice and medical options for my dog and really cares about his well being and quality of life. She makes sure that I understand every aspect of his treatment and takes the time to listen and explain every question I have. Even though his prognosis is poor I am thankful to have her looking out for us.
