Today, 04/30/2018, we had to take our beloved little Bichon to see Dr. Petrus at the Towson clinic. I was very impressed. You couldn't ask for a more caring, more thorough, more professional Vet. We don't have all the answers to what the problem is with our Frankie, but Dr Petrus ruled out a lot of potential causes and is working to track down the exact cause of his symptoms. We saw Dr. Silver yesterday at the Columbia location and the experience was amazing. My dog has a hemangiopericytoma that was incompletely excised. The front desk staff, the vet tech, and Dr. Silver were so friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The building was beautiful, bright, and clean. Plus, when I picked up my dog after they ran some tests, instead of being put in a kennel to wait for me, Grace was given a blanket and was able to lay down next to the vet tech's desk in her office. Amazing experience. Worth the money.
I took my eldest cat in yesterday for an appointment with Dr.Silver. although he has carcinoma, Dr.Silver and all staff were absolutely wonderful. They treat you and your pet like family, the facility is clean and nice, Keri was absolutely wonderful as well. Everything was explained patiently, and options discussed. Like another reviewer, their best interest is in the pet and family. I will be bringing all my pets to this Columbia facility if and when needed.
Impressed with the facilities, but more important -- the care and support from everyone here, from the Veterinary Medicine Specialists to the Techs and support staff.
As a veterinarian who lives/practices an hour away from Annapolis, this entire CVRC Team has always been so accommodating and professionally wonderful to the patients I have sent there. When my own dog-son, Jackson, had a sudden episode of collapse, after initial stabilization in my hospital, I knew that he needed to be in Annapolis with CVRC to receive amazing critical care and referral to the correct specialists for further diagnosis. Just came back from the initial appt at the Columbia location with Dr. Silver. She was informative, patient and the entire staff was awesome. I also received a ten percent discount for being military. I think it goes beyond saying that I observed even as I waited for my dogs appt (because I was really early) that I was able to watch the dynamic between patient and the staff. It seemed that as pet parents are trying to adjust to the issues our pets faced, there was this awesome patient/client relationship. It actually relaxed... read more
Love my Dr. (Paola)... Trust him emphatically.. We've now had 5 dogs under his care at one time or another. We explore options, we discuss financial alternatives., we discuss best case scenarios. I'm also never rushed through any appointment. I certainly can't say that about my human doctors from time to time.
