This was my first visit with behavioral health. The appointment was great I loved the therapist. She told me she was in a city 3 hrs away from me. It was a virtual visit. No one ever discussed money with me or how much this would cost. I thought that was odd. Then the day after my appointment I received a phone call stating they don’t accept my insurance. Great feedback and incite
I felt as if she did not listen to what I was saying. I know I probably did not know what I needed when I was there. That was the reason I was talking to her.
Extremely slow response times. Feel as though I’m not cared for at all and neglected in my needs for mental stability.
I did not connect with the Psychiatrist Nicole at all. I was made to feel like I was a burden due to needing documentation for my employer. I have not had any communications about my documentation although a diagnosis was evident at my appointment. I was made very uncomfortable when requesting the paperwork be filled out for me, as it is needed for work accommodations for my mental health. I simply do not feel comfortable or safe talking to this person moving forward.
I was struggling situationally. I had a trauma response and was having intrusive thoughts for 4 days. Instead of helping me, both of my therapists got on a call with me and told me they would do any more sessions with me unless I got higher level of care. I could not afford the care, and my situation calmed down because of techniques that I have learned in the past. I am no longer experiencing intrusive thoughts. My first therapy session was 40$ (copay), for less than 30 minutes. The therapist asked me a bunch of questions that the doctor already asked me during my first visit a couple of weeks ago. My 40$ feel completely wasted.
Just didn't connect. The conversation was strained.
I've requested to pay out of pocket for my behavioral health services and that request has repeatedly been ignored
