Booking appointments is hard particularly with a teacher's schedule. I nearly didn't get this therapist because he only saw new clients at specific hours. I had to walk out of a faculty meeting to meet up with this guy. Now I'm not in good graces with our principal. Thanks! As a teacher, I wish I could say to kids, "I'll only see you from this hour to this hour." You really don't have times to help those who are professionals in other fields who really need your help.

No one answers the phones. my provider was usually late I have a terrible time figuring out the patient portal. impossible to schedule appointments. The billing department is horrible, cannot understand them and speaks bad english. usually in a short with customers. not lindsay mchugh. not sure of names .

Avance had Bredell Moody ask me for money before my second appt. I’ve never had any provider ask me for money and my bill from 2017/ 2018 has fraud charges on it. I was so sick and Rex pain referred me to psych many times, but I was railroaded on phone when trying to schedule mult times. Someone from Behavioral called me while driving to ask me why I cancelled w Bredell while I was driving home from Duke, almost having me have an accident to find she wasn’t even really listening. My daughter Jannah Elshafi needs a letter from a medical professional saying that she suffers from anxiety and depression. I took her to Avance Psychiatry and Morgan was willing to prescribe her medication to help her feel better but my daughter decided she didn’t want to be on medication. Now she is refusing to sign a letter so that Jannah can get an evaluation done by her school to determine if she needs extra care at school even though when she saw her she said Jannah had anxiety and depression. Our United insurance says Avance Care is in-network, however, I received an email from Avance Care after the appointment saying we are actually not. VERY important missed detail.

Your passcode and “ my chart “ system and how to set up and access SUCKS. TOO HARD TOO LONG. STUPID. HACKERS CAN ACCESS MY INS CO, the dept of Defence, White House and IRS WEB SITES THEY HAVE EASY ACCESS TO MY ss no and all my health care records and your system is not user friendly. You make us go thru all this crap and I still can not access my records. You all have become lazy by dumping upon the patient the ENTIRE ADMINISTRATIVE BURDEN OF FINDING ABOUT OR HEALTH RECORDS.

Behavioral health practitioner questionable. They apply textbook application and not person centered care. Disappointed. FYI, recommended treatment plans are taught in Middle School and High School Health classes. Seeking a new practitioner for my child.
