Bacchus is our destination of choice for very special occasions. The food is amazing and the service is second to none. My wife and I always feel special when we dine at Bacchus.
We dined on a night the restaurant was hosting a special event in the main dining room. We were worried our food might suffer, but decided to stick with our plans anyway. Our meals were excellent despite the event going on, but dining in the bright atrium area significantly took away from the evening feeling like a special or romantic night out. I would encourage the restaurant to consider working on the ambiance in this room as it feels more like a banquet hall than a fine dining spot.
Food was great and the wine list had too many good options. It was a little slow for a Thursday night, but the wait staff was at our side whenever we needed them. The spinach salad and venison were table favorites.

We enjoyed the restaurant, this was our second visit. The food was very good. It is a lovely room.

This place is super classy, the service and food was excellent. Very expensive for what you get portion wise but it is worth it for a special occasion. Celebrated a birthday and birthday person was given a birthday card and a free dessert. It was a nice touch.
This was our second visit, and while both were enjoyable, the first would have rated five stars. The difference, frankly, was the service. The first was superb in every way while the second was, well...four stars, very good but not that extra bit that made the first experience one to remember. The menu would benefit from a few more vegetables, even for the carnivores. Vegetarians are stuck with salad. This restaurant is the most expensive of the Bartolotta group and the portions are minuscule. I appreciate this as I am weigh... read more
Bacchus ambience is tasteful elegance and provides a lovely view of the lake. Food selections, preparation, and presentation were all wonderful. Only disappointment was the alcoholic selections. My whiskey sour tasted like straight bourbon ( and no cherry) and the wine selection, although extensive, was exorbitantly priced. It was our anniversary so we splurged but I don't think I'll be back for a quite awhile.
