Excellent menu and device from staff made to feel welcome
Had a lovely evening meal on Friday. However did ask for a corner table if possible and we were absolutely in the middle of the room so minus points for that. Service was excellent and food was good. Probably could have been a little more fish in the fish pie and less mashed potatoe but the mashed potatoe was delicious as was the cabbage and bacon side.. Toilets were really quirky and squeaky clean so plus points for that. Would definitely return as really enjoyed the vibe.

Overall a good first visit. Quality of the food was very good. Excellent soup and the cod and venison were very good. The portion of venison was very generous and it was beautifully cooked. Good choice of wines. Music and general noise were quite loud and tables were close together. Service was very friendly but I felt they struggled a bit on a busy Saturday evening. But I would go back for the venison - maybe a bit less mash.
Good food, good choice of beer and wine, good service and very reasonably priced. Had a nice meal and the only issue was half way through the meal they turned the air con on, we just happened to be sat in front of it, and it got so cold and draughty that my partner had to put her jacket on. Would go back but I'll be making sure I'm not sat in the same place.
