Our waiter Sean was excellent - he was attentive and came over as very passionate about his place of work. His experience in hospitality was evident as his service level was perfect for us. We were having a family meal and so the menu suited everyone. We had a great evening - thank you! We shall return!

Good food, range isn't as wide as it used to be. Tasty food, good service. Mocktail had a lot of ice, tasty, but not great in terms of value. Loaded fries delicious but very large portion. Would be lovely to have a small portion option so we can enjoy more food from the menu.

All very pleasant and good, but I don’t like discretionary service charges automatically added. It’s my decision to tip or not and I really don’t like it forced on me. Food was good as was the cocktail and the kids loved the chocolate brownie.

Very good food, excellent (quirky!) ambiance - just abysmal service. We were seated at 7:15 Sat evening and didn’t get our drinks until nearly 8 - and the restaurant wasn’t slammed (there were open tables). Really unclear if we had a dedicated server. Clearly understaffed.

Lovely cocktails, good food, really nice to sit outside in the terrace area out for for the summer. Not cheap, particularly for drinks, but nice atmosphere.

Lovely interior, very quaint and quiet, excellent central location. The food was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. I signed up to their newsletter which gave access to a voucher code for 20% off our first meal which was a real bonus and very easy to use. A great place to visit if you are travelling to Edinburgh.

The menu was limited. The food was disappointing - watery pie, boring dressing on the mackerel, and the soup was so watery I couldn't eat it. The waitress forgot to bring the tomato ketchup we asked for, and when she eventually did bring it, she didn't apologise for her lapse.
