Was disappointed that we couldnt get boozy brunch because apparently this needs to be pre-reserved. This wasnt obvious when booking.
We booked a table for 8:45pm, ordered food but weren’t told the kitchen closed at 9pm, only that we may have a long wait because there were big tables in. I ordered just a side which to be fair did come and was lovely, but my husbands meal never arrived, we waited for an hour and a half I, not wanting to hassle anyone. Really disappointed, the place was lovely the staff were great but the food situation really spoiled it for us. All of us enjoyed our visit. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and polite. The food was delicious and choice varied. The pastry on the pies was just right. Not too much and not too little. We shall be back.

Was out for a birthday was a lovely meal and the drinks were great the restaurant itself was a bit warm service was a bit long to get back to you but that’s not too bad. Lovely theme and great ambience but pricey so be prepared to spend a bit
Only one criticism which is not for Badger and co themselves but we searched for the best places for Sunday Roast in Edinburgh and they came up as number one on the guide which is why we booked. They do notndo Sunday Roast anymore.. to be fair to them Sunday Roast isnt advertized on their own website.
Thought we were booking somewhere offering a Sunday roast but not so; not fault of Badger. We found alternatives which were very good. Waitresses a bit clueless but utterly charming and very helpful. Five of us passed an extremely pleasant and relaxing three hours here.
Nice atmosphere, limited mains available, share dessert due to size
