Lovely venue for a Sunday roast with a view of the castle! Went here straight after the fringe and it was perfect to get a bit of rest. Great value roast with dessert included.
Service always great. Lovely ambiance. Went twice. First night everything was perfect. Perfect lamb, chicken pie, desserts. Second night food was good but tasted like it had been under a heat lamp too long. We would be happy to try again and how it goes. Undoubtedly back to perfect.
Food was average, i unfortunately ordered sirloin steak ,but could not eat it as it was to tough, the waitress was apologetic and discontinued my bill by 25% , on the steak not on the overall bill . We where given a glass of sparking wine as this was a anniversary meal.
Table not ready so had drinks in bar. Then waited 50 mins for food. By this time, was v late and we were quite drunk. Not returning ..

I really like the food, the settings and the service at Badger & Co. This time I was bit disappointed with the food, I ordered the NORTH SEA HAKE & LANGO. The samphire was quite woody and I was missing cutlery to finish the lango properly. It was flavoursome and the fish was perfectly cooked.
We were seated at the worst two top in the restaurant, even though other tables were available, and were still open when we finally left. We ordered a very nice Rioja Reserve, but discovered after opening the bottle it was a much inferior Spanish wine. Excellent setting with a good vibe. The brunch is amazing value. Felt like we had to keep trying to get eye contact with the waitresses. Bill was wrong at the end, but immediately resolved. Brownies missing from the platter, but sorted quickly. will def be back :)
