Excellent service. The food took a bit longer than expected to come out, but the staff more than made up for the wait. Don’t hesitate to book!

All good. Staff polite and attentive. Food served quickly, well presented and tasty. Always pleasant surroundings. Very pleased with 3rd visit.

We were walking by and randomly decided to have lunch at Badger & Co., a lovely restaurant whose decorative and culinary scheme is based upon Kenneth Grahame’s Children’s book “The Wind in the Willows”. The setting and the food were simply outstanding. Even the final bill was presented as a bookmark in a worn out paperback copy of the book.

Make a reservation and Once you get past a grumpy bar, you get seated by a friendly and welcoming team of wait staff. The food was excellent for everything we tried. Small snag with dessert (we ordered an item and we waited for a bit before the wait staff realized there was none left, they did make it right and were prompt in doing so). Would recommend the highland fries, Buffalo chicken bites, onion tart for starters…every entree was excellent too!

We had a lovely time until staff members decided to have a loud zoom call in the bar area when we were sitting having lunch! Not great as we had to sit and listen to that - no thank you!

We ordered from the brunch menu, unfortunately my order was wrongly taken down so I had to wait to get mine and my friends had finished eating by the time mine came. I ordered the avocado on toast with two poached eggs. Good portion for the money. Eggs a bit over done. My husband got the traditional Scottish breakfast it was a bit small but tasty. The chicken waffles the others got was really tiny more like a starter. They did take my order off the bill and gave a small discount which I appreciated so I would go back again. ... read more

Pros were a lovely main room, interesting if small menu, lovely food. Apart from some things not being available, including the wine we wanted I would recommend this for lunch or dinner; or even a cocktail or two.
