Cuisine traditionnelle raffinée, plat copieux, très bon rapport qualité prix. Ambiance et décor original et très beau. A recommander.
Menu is limited and quite traditional. Food is a bit greasy but large portions. Fish v fresh, burgers a bit crumbly. Service was pleasant and efficient but carpets and floors a bit dirty and made restaurant feel that way. At nearly £50 for a burger and fish and chips and no alcohol, taking all into account I thought it was over priced.
We were here on vacation from the United States and absolutely loved it! We ordered the 3 different pies and enjoyed each one. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the value was about the same as any pub around for a nice sit down dinner. 10/10 would recommend
We ate a lovely meal here prior to seeing a show. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was good and good value also, we'd definitely go back again.
The food is the most delicious we have found until now. The position is great with its Castle view and staff is very kind. If we will be again in Edinburgh we would defined come back. Thanks!

Delicious food, friendly and efficient staff and a very comfortable setting.
My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious Steak and Haggis Pie at this delightful venue. The service was excellent and my daughter particularly enjoyed her citrus craft beer. The decor was a great homage to characters from The Wind in the Willows as was the delivery of the bill inside a copy of the famous book. This was very apt as my daughter is a librarian! Thank you Badger and Co for a very enjoyable experience.
