We saw reviews for this restaurant as having the best Sunday roast in town. However, the portion was very small, most of the plate was the Yorkshire pudding which was probably just as well because otherwise there really wasn’t enough to eat. If the restaurant is after social media likes and hype, I have to say that I did NOT post to Instagram because I felt the plate looked a little sad - a massive Yorkshire pudding with not much else and price was not even that cheap - just could not post or recommend. Lovely place to visit for a catch up with friends and family. Great customer experience. Will be back again.
We’ve been here a few times and always had great food and service. This time the food wasn’t so good, my wife’s burger being very undercooked (my fish and chips were fine though). I’ve always felt that any business can have issues (in this case due to the combination of busy kitchen, new staff and high customer numbers) and it’s how they get resolved that’s important. We were welcomed in by pleasant staff, we took ages to meet and greet and decide but staff were patient and good humoured. Staff were attentive throughout. Rose spritzer was delicious as was Vegetable Wellington. Thoroughly enjoyed our catch-up-with-pals meal.
Food was warm not hot.. one meal for one of the party was was delayed quite a few minutes after the others were brought to the table. Ordered hot chocolate which was barely warm. Staff member so in a rush didn't pay attention a lot of the time to requests we had to constantly get their attention. Doubt whether we'll be back
The food was great and the staff were really attentive. It’s a great spot with a lovely view of the castle if you sit outside.
First time at Badger & Co, the service, surroundings and staff were great. Food and drinks were very good and will definitely be back!!! Try the sticky toffee pudding - it’s a must!!!
