Friendly from the moment we arrived and until we left. Accommodated our request to change tables with no problem. Efficient and non rushed service. High quality food and drinks, value for money and a superb location.

Really enjoyed our visit. Very friendly, lovely ambiance. The food was great. I did find a few grizzly bits of chicken in my pie and I thought just under £18 was a tad expensive for what is essentially pie and mash but was happy to pay it because on the whole it was very good. My daughter had the field burger & fries which she really enjoyed. Had a couple of glasses of a very nice Picpoul de pinet which was very reasonably priced. Staff great and could not do enough for my dog Finn Food wise the fish and chips were excellent one of the best bits of haddock ive ever had cooked to perfection in light batter My wifes lamb “ rump “ was actually 2 very small slices cooked well but for over £25 should have been more than a quarter of a rump so we felt a little ripped off i suggest looking at the portion size of this dish or at least managing the customers expectation of what they will received

Have been a few time and always enjoyed the food. This time not so much. Fish was a little undercooked and the batter wasn’t crispy. Such a disappointment

Will you book specially because we had seen the restaurant the day before and it was for my daughter's birthday. The place we were staying at was awful and we were really looking forward to a special meal. When we arrived, we were told that at 8 pm on a Sunday all the things we were looking forward to ordering had run out.
