Close to Princes St but away from the main hubbub. Delicious food, well prepared, attentive staff, lovely dining room or outdoor dining if weather permits. I would highly recommend the Badger.

We all enjoyed our dinner at Badger & Co. Had the 3-Fish trio to start which was amazing, followed by the goat cheese & mushroom Wellington. My husband had the carpaccio - then both he and my son had different meat pies; which came with well-cooked chips and broccolini. They both enjoyed their choices immensely. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to friends, and would go again next time we were in Edinburgh.

Loved this restaurant’s indoor decor- the tables are intimate and the food is excellent. We loved the steak and haggis pie!

Nice decor. Hearkens back my childhood with Wind in the Willows. Nostalgia there! One gripe I had was with my chicken and mushroom pie. It should have had more pastry. I.e: around the sides, instead of the sides being the dish it is served in. This would have been better value. All round though, the pie was tasty. If only there had been more of it and I wasn’t being charged for a dish I can’t eat as part of the pie. I would however return for another go.

Not sure if is the plan, but slow doesn’t describe the night. Arrived at 1930 and bill paid at 2200. Long periods between orders and delivery. Food was great
