Pleasant staff but unfortunately overall poor/slow service. Food a bit poor.
The ambiance and charm of this restaurant are fabulous. The service was fantastic and we all enjoyed our meals. The small plate onion tartine was the hit of the table. We would definitely recommend eating here. The only downside was the dining room temperature. It was overly warm and we were uncomfortable and could see other guests fanning themselves. Otherwise, A+.

We had booked from the images on the web site and it looked like a very pleasant restaurant, and indeed the space was pleasant enough, however this was for our 25th wedding anniversary and not very romantic at all. Also the food was very mediocre, nothing special at all. Part of my husbands meal was incorrect, although we weren’t charged for that bit which I thought was very fair. The overall feel of the place is very neon, and a bit brash.

Close to Princes St but away from the main hubbub. Delicious food, well prepared, attentive staff, lovely dining room or outdoor dining if weather permits. I would highly recommend the Badger.

We all enjoyed our dinner at Badger & Co. Had the 3-Fish trio to start which was amazing, followed by the goat cheese & mushroom Wellington. My husband had the carpaccio - then both he and my son had different meat pies; which came with well-cooked chips and broccolini. They both enjoyed their choices immensely. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend it to friends, and would go again next time we were in Edinburgh.

Loved this restaurant’s indoor decor- the tables are intimate and the food is excellent. We loved the steak and haggis pie!

Not sure if is the plan, but slow doesn’t describe the night. Arrived at 1930 and bill paid at 2200. Long periods between orders and delivery. Food was great
