A very nice lunch. Like the idea of small sharing plates. We had five between two which was perfect. Each plate was as good as the next. Will definitely be back and recommend to others.
Business response:
Hi Steven, Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the sharing plates and that the portions worked out perfectly. It means a lot that you’ll be recommending us and planning another visit — we look forward to welcoming you back soon! Team Badger
Great food, especially the small plates. We loved all the ones we tried (pork croquette, salmon, scallops with haggis). The mains were also very good! Service is quick, polite and attentive.
Business response:
Frederica, Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted you enjoyed the small plates and mains, and we’ll be sure to share your compliments with the team. It’s great to hear you appreciated the service too, we look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Team Badger x
I wondered if the Wind in the Willows theme might be a bit pastiche and detract from the food because I dislike style over substance. I needn’t have worried. The food, the staff the cocktails, the wine and the decor were just perfect. Little nods to The Wind in The Willows but not over the top. Beautifully done. If you’re wondering whether to get the sticky toffee dessert and procrastinating because you’re too full. Do it anyway. You won’t regret it for a moment. It’s 5 stars from me.
Business response:
Deborah, Thank you so much for this fabulous review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the balance of our Wind in the Willows theme alongside the food, drinks and service, it’s lovely to hear it all came together just right. And we couldn’t agree more about the sticky toffee tea party, it’s always worth it! We really appreciate your 5 stars and can’t wait to welcome you back again soon. Team Badger x
From the get-go everything was perfect. From the table to the drinks to the food and the service I couldn’t recommend here enough! I had a delicious Britney in New York cocktail and loved it. We all loved our starters, especially the scallops, and our mains. Will be coming again to try some desserts next time! Thank you so much for a great evening and thank you Leona for being the best!
Business response:
Molly, Thank you so much for such a glowing review! We’re thrilled to hear you loved your evening with us, from the cocktails to the scallops to the mains. We’ll make sure Leona sees your lovely shout-out, she’ll be so pleased! We can’t wait to welcome you back soon to try those desserts. Team Badger x
