Nice decor. Hearkens back my childhood with Wind in the Willows. Nostalgia there! One gripe I had was with my chicken and mushroom pie. It should have had more pastry. I.e: around the sides, instead of the sides being the dish it is served in. This would have been better value. All round though, the pie was tasty. If only there had been more of it and I wasn’t being charged for a dish I can’t eat as part of the pie. I would however return for another go.

Was disappointed with the overall service , I had went into the restaurant a few hours prior to booking to go over surprise arrangement for my Sister’s pre wedding event and to find that this was not followed through with no sparklers on the cupcakes as arranged and no cocktail toppers put on the cocktails too (which I had brought in ) I was confident this would happen as the manager agreed and confirmed arrangements with myself. Service was quite slow especially as it wasn’t very busy. However the food was great and will certainly visit again.

The decor is whimsical and well done. The food was non-descript at best. The wait staff was clearly uninterested in their job. There were 4 tables seated while we were there. Three of us were clustered together immediately adjacent to one another. The wait staff then proceeded to ignore us for 20 and 30 minute stretches. Had to flag one down to get a second drink and then again to order deserts.
