I went into bayridge nissan today 12/1/2018 to look at the a 2017 honda civic lx sedan with about 5,700 miles they offered for sale at an asking price $16,302 The Stock # is : U29463A at the time of sale. I originally came here last month and was charged over $300 for a brake light repair and inspection - was originally quoted for $75 when I dropped my car off. I was assigned to service advisor John Gaied who told me there was a recall on my car for the airbags and that they would take care of it all. A few days later I pick up my car (they also said it would be one day, and did not even contact me once it was ready 2 days later). So it's been three weeks since I put a very large deposit down on the vehicle I was going to get (I decided not to get it because I no longer wanted to work with this horrible dealership). I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY REFUND! I've called almost every day to inquire and I get the run around...i get told I'll get a call back and never do..and I'm quite frankly fed up. bad experience years ago and based on the new reviews looks like they havent changed stay away from this place. dont bother buying an extended or aftermarket warranty from this place because they will NOT honor it later. and no I do not wish to call someone to talk about it, so don't bother to reply to this review with your genetic copy and paste response!
This place and their service department is ridiculous I had an appointment yesterday 8am to replace the airbags on my car due to a recall. I am using the car for 2 or 3 more months to go work & drop off/pickup my 6yr old from school so i had to get the air bags replaced. Why did i call this service advisor and he told me the car will not be worked on today!! Whyyy? My experieces with bay ridge nissan service department went from very good to very aggrivating..... my first year was handled by phil who was also a personal friend.... always steered me in the right direction, never tried to sell me, always felt like my car was in good hands..... tragically i lost my dear friend rip brotha.... now i get reasigned a new advisor and now im told need a grand worth of work or my extended warranty would be voided..... i was sold and will never be sold again....
