I am so disappointed with the intractable attitude of BP with whom I have enjoyed a positive long-standing relationship. I am Canadian. While American citizens may visit Canada, the land border to the USA remains closed to Canadians. I contacted PB to request they move my fully-paid reservation for October 2 to the next available date -- May 2022. Dirty, run down, and mismanaged- Avoid at all cost! Imagine driving to the beach and showing up to a condo that hasn’t been swept- forget the deep cleaning you want during a pandemic. Our dog found someone’s fake eyelash, I swept the kitchen and found glass shards, there was dirty linen on the pullout sofa and the coffee table hadn’t been moved in a while, with remnants of food beneath it. We have paid over $6000 for a home rental in Sea Pines April 20 Of course we are under a national “shutdown” during the month of April and this shut down involves Hilton Head The rental companies have been told to not take reservations until May The public beaches are shut down as well as all restaurants and bars. My rental was filthy. Even feces on toilet seat. They did nothing to help me told me it wasn't their problem because I rented with someone else even though they manage the property. They gave me a $50 dinner giftcard to seafood restaurant - I'm allergic to seafood. & told me I was lucky to get that. Beach property literally conned us. We rented a beach house in Hilton head for $11,000 because it had a swimming pool and spa whirl pool. When we got there the pool was filthy and heat in both hot tub and pool was broken. They kept on saying we won’t need the heated pool but when we insisted, they admitted that it could not be heated because it was broken. In addition, the house was disgusting.
