My mother receives very good care. Still reasonably sound of mind she informs me that the staff respond very quickly when required and that she is happy at Belmont House. I appreciate the activities that are provided for the residents and photos that appear on the Belmont social media page. The staff are always happy and friendly when I visit. Thank you

My dad came to Belmont in January this year. From the moment he arrived the staff were so welcoming & caring The staff went above & beyond with my dad, making sure all his needs were met & keeping him safe. Communication with myself from staff was extremely effective. Staff would regularly tell me how my dad had made them laugh. Sadly, my dad passed away towards the end of April but I found great comfort knowing his final days were spent at Belmont, where he was extremely well looked after during his end of life care. My father has been a resident at Belmont House Care Home since January 2023. The love and care that the staff provide is exceptional; nothing is any trouble. Dad has been on trips to Bridlington, Cleethorpes, local garden centres and museums plus activities within the home such as gardening group, chair aerobics, quizzes and theme days. When Dad is ill and/or needs medical care, they act immediately and provide better care than the local hospital. My father has been a resident for over two years. Excellent care. Friendly staff. Treated as an individual. Excellent choice of food. Plenty of activities. Everyone goes above and beyond. Kept well informed of Dad's care.

Excellent care for Mum. Kind, caring and understanding staff. Good communication at all times. Individual care and health needs are fully met. Infection control is always at the forefront. We feel like the staff are additional family for Mum.

Cannot recommend Belmont House Care & Nursing Home enough, Mum is very happy being there, the carers are exceptional. Mum enjoys the company of other residents and always seems happy when we visit, she joins in with activities which she says she enjoys doing.

I would say, any person looking for a care home for their relatives, look no further than Belmont House Care & Nursing Home in Stocksbridge. It's an excellent place with staff, manager and residents. I love going to visit with my mum, I not only visit her, I feel I'm visiting everyone, staff and residents, the care is second to none. I have my mum and dad in Belmont House Care & Nursing Home and all the time they have been there, they are treated with utmost respect and care by the staff. The staff always seem on hand and never far away to assist any of the residents with their daily requirements. Family and friends visiting are always welcomed, even if you turn up at a busy period such as meal times. The bedroom and living areas always appear very clean and tidy. My mum is well cared for and her needs are well taken care of. Communication is very good and I am kept informed of any changes with mum. Kindness and dignity to residents is shown and staff are approachable for any concerns or questions I have. Domestic staff work hard to keep the home clean.
