The lady for whom I have LPA has dementia. I have seen how she and others are cared for with compassion. The staff demonstrate a good knowledge of dementia and are skilled in coping with distressed and confused residents. I have witnessed how they can distract and de-escalate situations with residents, becoming settled and calm again. My father has received excellent care since becoming a resident of Belmont House. The staff are professional and engaging in every aspect. Despite my father's failing health both mentally and physically, he appears brighter and healthier than when previously received care in his own home - this can only be a result of the care provided by the staff at Belmont care home.

My mother began life at Belmont in August 2021 and is approaching one year at the establishment. Belmont is all about people. The staff have been kind, both to me, my mother and my wider family. They respond swiftly to suggestions and welcome discussion regarding care. They are open to trying new procedures regarding care and behaviour management. From my initial phone call with the care home manager to getting our dad/husband settled into Belmont, I can honestly say we have been met with nothing but kindness and compassion from a very supportive team of hardworking professionals. In what has been a very emotional couple of months, the whole team at Belmont has made our dad and us feel very welcome. He is cared for in all aspects of his well-being, and his dignity is maintained and respected.

Everyone at Belmont goes above and beyond for my nan. She is well looked after and loves getting her nails done. There’s always some activity going on to keep her occupied and she’s looking the best she has in a while. Thank you so much for everything that you do for her. I and my family really appreciate it so much.

My mum entered the home last year and settled in really quickly. She has been really happy at the home and is well looked after. All the staff are very friendly and have coped really well with the Covid situation. I would highly recommend Belmont.

Belmont House has given my family a wonderful gift, the relief of knowing our family members are safe. The staff are wonderful and work tirelessly to provide both clients and their families with the best of care and support. I have 3 grandparents taking residence in Belmont at present; we cannot thank them enough.

All the staff at Belmont House are amazing. The care that they provide is excellent. They treat the residents with the utmost respect, and nothing is too much trouble. They also treat the residents like they are family with love and compassion. I cannot thank them enough for everything they do to look after my father.

I want to personally thank everybody from Belmont Care Home for their professional care, understanding, and most of all, the friendliness they have given to my mum and family. Mum has been in Belmont now for exactly a year after a stroke. She has dementia, and it has been really hard for us to take in and for me personally found it heartbreaking to cope.
