Having both my parents in Belmont House Nursing Home on different floors, I see the care and attention the staff give to them both. I am always contacted if either have any problems or illnesses. It gives me comfort to know they are being looked after 24/7. Thank you.

The home is good due to the fact that it is close to home. My friend, who is resident, did select the home on her own when times were good. I do think the home has become a better place under your control.

Mum has been here for 5 and 1/2 years. She is safe, well cared for and happy. The staff are friendly and supportive and Mum's needs are well met. Recently her dementia has progressed to the extent that she has now been moved to the nursing wing so her care needs can be better provided for. We are very pleased that she has not had to move to another home for this to be provided.

The main strength of Belmont is the staff, predominantly locally born people, who care for the residents as if the resident is part of their own family.

Its good to know that Mum is well looked after at Belmont House and they meet her everyday needs. The staff are friendly and professional and always give information and support if needed. Thank you to you all, I wouldn't want her to be anywhere else!

Mum is cared and well looked after. All her needs are taken care of. If we have any problem I feel I can talk to a member of staff.

Mum has been in Belmont now for over 5years and in all that time she has been well cared for. As a family, we visit 4 times a week and I regard it as a second home. Whenever I visit I am made welcome by the staff, I know all their names and they know mine. I attend relatives meetings whenever possible and any issues and concerns that relatives raise are always dealt with accordingly. The care my mother has received has been very good. She has however not enjoyed the food. The bins provided in the rooms are not large enough. Overall, the staff have been very caring.
