Went well but had to call them back a few times to get the job done properly. To their credit they were very responsive and kept coming back until it was completed to fulfill the contracted services and to my satisfaction. Bethesda Chimney went above and beyond with the quality of work. I am very happy with he services provided and they were very flexible and easy to deal with. I'm already planning my next project to repair a cracked brick stairwell at my house and look forward to working with them again! Remove old wood stove, reline fireplace flue and furnace flue.
It went very well from estimate to completion. I would give an A+ rating without any reservation. Repairs were done competently. Excellent cleanup after repairs. I was impressed with the color match of the replacement brick to the 35 year old brick wall. I would definitely use Bethesda Chimney again. Repairing and repointing the chimney top, installing a chimney cap, various repairs to a brick wall including replacing a broken brick.
The job went great. There were some bricks damaged during the process, but once I notified Bethesda Chimney they came out the next day and replaced them. They even found a few damaged bricks I hadn't noticed and replaced them. Had existing mortar removed and replaced on a brick walkway and stoop.
With the Angie's list coupon, having the work done was very affordable. After I contacted them, Brian came and measured within a couple of days. The guys showed up on time and they finished the job in one afternoon. It looks great! I had a brick planter at the base of a lamp post replaced.

Bryan and one of his crew came out and replaced the crack brick, sealed the crown, replaced the damper system and cleaned the chimney. They actually had to pull out what looked like a dead squirrel. Our fireplace screen doors were in need of replacement so we asked him to remove them. He took pictures of all the chimney work that was done. The work was very good. We were thrilled to see everything done in a professional manor. The deck now looks very cleaned and all of the orange color was removed. Also, we are ready to use our fireplaces for next winter. We would definitely hire them again. I needed (2) chimneys to be re-lined with new chimney liners. We also needed our gutters and roof cleaned and our back deck pressure washed. There was also some brickwork needed on the (2) chimneys as well.
