Waited Till the last minute to ask for paperwork

It wasn't necessarily Betsy but her processors screwed up a lot of paperwork. Mainly concerned about business practices and security of private information. I received someone else's documentation with personal identification (name, address, SSN ,etc.) I have major concerns about the safety of my info. Also,the closing disclosure paperwork was provided on a Friday before closing on Tuesday morning and apparently this is not normal according to others who have received paperwork well in advance.

I felt rushed and like I was not really part of the process. I would of liked an explanation of what was going on. An example would be that I found out that I was not closing on the day I was supposed to close. I think the date was moved because of the second mortgage that was discovered but not certain. I understand that I was very busy with my job too. Just felt more like I was working for you rather then you working for me.

I felt that Betsy mishandled my fiancee and I. There was prevalant information to do with our loan that wasn't given to us till 2 weeks before closing date, which almost cost us our home. Then when trying to get our issues resolved she was slow to respond or gave to little of information. It made the final weeks before closing very stressful. I was relieved when Dana and Laura contacted us. They were insightful and quick to respond. Which I found found very relieving.

I'll start with the lack of knowledge on individual cases. This lack of knowledge and deceitfulness cost me thousands of dollars. Lack of communication was also a key factor. For example: Not responding to phone calls, texts or emails for almost a month is flat out unprofessional and extremely frustrating/unnecessary stress. Purchasing a home is already stressful without throwing that into the mix. What should have been one of the happier times of my life, turned out to be one of the worst.
