We stopped here passing through on our way to Cadillac. I ordered the classic Big Boy and it was excellent as usual. My wife had the soup and sandwich and loved it. The service was perfect.

Took 20 minutes for someone to come and ask us if we needed help. Helped the couple that came in and sat themselves down after us. My step daughter ordered a cup of soup and was told that she could just grab it from the salad bar. Could see workers grabbing sides from salad bar for customers with no glove, or one gloving Food was adequate. I'm a big tipper but I couldn't justify my normal 30%, so I left a normal 20% in cash. Poor service, never asked how the food was, not being from Mich. thought it came with the white sauce not the Mich sauce, handle any lettuce, never asked to refill drinks left a poor tip.

We were traveling home from the UP of Michigan and needed some food I remember growing up with Bob's Big Boy and Nostalgia said stop let's get some dinner Well Nostalgia was left outside the door.. service was garbage the food wasn't anything close to what I remember it being sure wasn't nothing to call home to Mom about yeah sorry I stopped here

We got there at 5:45 and at 6:40 we still had none of our food, and it's not like nobody was getting food everyone around us got their food. No one came and checked on us or updated us on our food.

Stopped in on Monday 21 March, I ordered the salad bar my ordered the 3 egg special withe sausage, bacon hash browns and toast. What he received was the farmers omelette and the potatoes or hash browns were nearly raw. My friend notified the waitress who took the wrong order back and when the replacement order arrived the hash browns were cooked but only two eggs instead of three. Really wish servers would explain up charge from fries to onion rings incl cost. Was taken aback when $2.99 x2 was added especially for the small portions. It came across in discussion"onion rings were one of my choices" in addition to fries. (No mention of up charge " Also don't like tip options at register. Also think $2.69 for a cup of hot tea is "steep".

I didn't even realize that Big Boys was open by the number of cars in their parking lot, but I drove in to look and it looked like they were open, so I went in. They need a big OPEN sign or something that lights up to let people know they are now open. somi went in and ordered Chili with fresh cut onions and shredded cheese. I also ordered. My parents always love to eat at Big Boy when I come to visit. I have to say that it's definitely gone down hill in regards to service and quality. The food sat in the window for a really long time, even though the server saw it and walked past it several times. It all came out cold and the fries were super soggy. My dad's order didn't come out right. We were never asked if we wanted refills. And... I'm pretty sure our server was on drugs.
