It could be better, service is slow, cause, too few waiters for the number of people visiting in restaurant at the moment
If I could give 0 stars I would. We came in with a party of 5 and seated almost immediately. The restaurant was busy, but not swamped by any means. We sat and waited 20 minutes with no service provided whatsoever prior to getting up and walking out. Lost my business for good, headed to the Silver Grill!
Worst service ever! Tea with enough soap in it you can blow bubbles! Order in complete! Have to flag down a different waitress ( takes 10 minutes ) to get water to rinse the soap out of my mouth. A different waitress brought out food to us, while our waitress hide, did not see her again until she hurry by to put the bill on the table. This was around 5 p.m., waitress in her early 20's and very lazy. Will not ever go back there to blow bubbles for dinner again. If you are smart, past on this restaurant. Someone back there doesn't know what a Brawny Lad is First off, they're "all out of cole slaw" which is 1 cent with a classic burger order for "anniversary." Oh well. (I forgot on the way out to check and see if there was cole slaw on that salad bar, so can't say). The real detraction was the Brawny Lad. Just had breakfast thought I might go with old faithful big boys breakfast buffet, wrong move price went up from 9.99 to 12.99, very little selection scrambled eggs where a rice like consistency drowning in water, everything was greasy or cold, had just a little bit of fresh fruit. never got a warm up on coffee, girl Only took plates once, spook to the manager he didn't care
The service at times is very slow even when they are not busy. If it wasn't the only restaurant open late and close, we wouldn't go back
This restaurant use to be one of the better in imlay city. Everything seems to have changed after a major staff change last fall. There was a long time manager named Robert (I think) who was always very friendly and welcoming, I have not seen him since then, along with a few long time waitresses. The service is iffy and even more important the food has definitely suffered. I will go to Davison if I want to go to a Big Boy.
Well I took my 10 year old out for lunch today at Big Boys. I live right down the road. So we started off with a strawberry malt. 5 Minutes later they bring me a cup of malt and a long spoon to stir it in myself. I was like here we go.
