We have started visiting quite often while traveling and the food and service are awesome! We have had Christopher a few times and he is one of the best waiters. He is friendly and attentive! Will now ask for him every time! His service is impeccable and is what all people in the service industry should be like!
Christopher is great. The food is always good and the service is outstanding. The staff always go above and beyond to accommodate my nephew’s peanut allergy.
The customer service I get from Michelle here is always above my expectations. She is quick to take your order and checks in every few mins to make sure everything is good and even when her section is full she makes sure to treat you like your the only one in her section. Everytime I go in I always ask to be seated in her section.

My family and I have just recently moved to Boise and this place was reccomended bu a sweet woman who works at the Chick fil A on Eagle Road. We decided to try it today and we definitely will be back.. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and inviting. The service was excellent especially our server Ange. Very efficient, attentive,fast, and friendly. Also do not let me forget to mention the food was GREAT!! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Black Bear has become a family favorite for us. It is the efforts made by staff as a whole that make our visits pleasant, but to have a waitress/waiter such as Christopher make it worth it. With a service dog and toddler in tow I have no worries when choosing Black Bear Diner. In every opportunity I have Black Bear is my number one suggested place to eat.
