I love this place. Never disappointed. Huge portions and lots of variety. It’s one of our favorite places to eat in Boise for hometown cooking.

My husband and I went here yesterday for his free birthday breakfast. We were not disappointed and enjoyed our breakfasts! This was our first visit as we recently moved from CA. The city we lived in CA had an excellent reputation for food and service. Dining there was a family favorite! We can say the same for this Black Bear; however found out during Veteran’s Day, they did not offer any discounts as compared to the Black Bears in Central CA offering veterans free meals.

The Corned Beef Hash was amazing! No grease, just lots of flavor! The service was amazing too. Definitely had a great experience and will return.
