In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Just wow! We had a variety of breakfast entrees and they were delicious! My favorite was the cinnamon roll french toast that was perfectly done. Our server was cheery and prompt and the food was delivered hot and fresh. We will definitely be back.
